InPlace Living and Yooralla announce a new partnership supporting employment outcomes for people with disability.

Yooralla’s social enterprise, Your Garden Team, will be landscaping and providing general gardening maintenance to a selection of InPlace Living’s Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) properties across Victoria.

“This is an innovative display of disability support service providers coming together to create greater opportunities for people with disability,” said Lachlan Hosking, National General Manager, Operations and SDA Infrastructure at InPlace Living.

“We identified an opportunity to create meaningful work opportunities and community impact, and are excited to be working with the Your Garden Team to grow this initiative,”Mr Hosking said.

“Your Garden Team is more than just a gardening service, it’s an avenue for people with disability to gain paid work, build skills, and be part of a supportive, inclusive workforce,” said Ross McLatchie, Yooralla’s Director of Employment.

“Through this partnership with InPlace Living, our team members with disability have the opportunity to showcase their talents and take pride in the difference their work makes to the residents of InPlace’s SDA properties,” Mr McLatchie said.

Combining InPlace Living’s expertise in SDA with Yooralla’s focus on inclusive employment, the partnership demonstrates how collaboration between service providers can open new pathways for people with disability to achieve their goals.

Your Garden Team is currently working across 34 InPlace SDA properties across Victoria, with the aim of expanding to 77 properties by the end of 2025.
